A single family house on a 30'x 60' site that exudes a friendly and laid-back character through its cascading form. A four bedroom house, made of overlooking spaces that keep the family connected, having two bedrooms on the ground floor, with a high-ceiling in the dining that highlights its use as a core gathering space on the ground floor. The upper-floor has a large family area looking down into the dining space and two more bedrooms. The terrace on the upper-floor serves as an outdoor recreational area that looks out to the green countryside in which the house is situated. The openings are designed and placed in a manner that the spaces are flooded with light, yet they tackle the severity of hot summers of Gandhinagar. The walls, with built-in cavity provide extra thermal comfort during hot summers to the internal spaces.
