Architecture shaped by living

Architecture at Tabula Rasa brings together climate, context, and ways of living. The studio works across residences, apartments, renovations, retreats, and institutional projects, approaching each with the same attention to experience, performance, and long-term relevance.

Rather than beginning with form or style, projects evolve through understanding how spaces are used — how people move, gather, rest, and relate to their surroundings. This process allows architecture to emerge naturally from lived requirements, resulting in environments that feel intuitive and enduring.

Climate-Responsive Design

Design decisions respond closely to local conditions. Orientation, shaded transitions, courtyards, and carefully calibrated openings help regulate light, heat, and airflow, improving comfort while reducing dependence on mechanical systems.

Material choices and construction methods are considered as part of this response, grounding each project in its geography while supporting durability and efficiency over time.

Enduring Architecture

The studio focuses on clarity of planning, careful detailing, and balanced proportions rather than stylistic expression. The aim is to create architecture that remains relevant as needs evolve — spaces that support wellbeing, adapt gracefully, and foster a lasting sense of belonging.
